Comprehensive Technical Disclosure of Our Zero-Server Ingestion Model & Local Device Privacy Architecture
1. Architectural Overview
At AHT Calculator ("we", "us", or "our"), privacy is not merely a legal compliance document—it is the foundational core of how our web applications are designed and engineered.
When you load https://ahtcalculator.online, the entire application runtime executes locally inside your web browser's JavaScript sandbox. Unlike legacy SaaS platforms that require database connections, user accounts, and remote telephony logs, AHT Calculator does not transmit your operational figures over the network.
2. What We Never Ingest or Store
We strictly maintain a Zero-Ingestion Model for operational, corporate, and personal data:
- No Customer Call Audio or Transcripts: We do not connect to audio streams, VoIP hardware, or PBX recordings.
- No Personal Identifiable Information (PII): We never ask for, collect, or store caller names, phone numbers, account numbers, or SSNs.
- No Corporate Credentials: We never prompt for agent passwords, SSO tokens, or corporate logins.
- No Server-Side Shift Logging: Durations, call counts, and hold benchmarks typed into the calculators are processed in client-side RAM and never sent to remote databases.
3. Technical Breakdown of Local Browser Storage
To provide session persistence between calls and preserve your visual preferences, our application utilizes standard HTML5 localStorage. This data never traverses the internet and remains strictly on your local disk:
| Storage Key | Data Format & Content | Storage Purpose |
|---|---|---|
aht_shift_history |
JSON array containing call sequence IDs, talk time (s), hold time (s), and ACW (s) | Powers the rolling trend chart and shift history table in the Stopwatch tool. |
aht_goal |
Single numeric integer (e.g., 240) |
Saves your shift target goal so you do not have to re-enter it when reopening the tab. |
aht_theme |
String: "dark" or "light" |
Remembers your visual theme preference between browser sessions. |
4. Enterprise, HIPAA & Clean Desk Security Safety
Contact center agents frequently handle sensitive financial, medical, and personal records subject to strict regulatory regimes including PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, and GDPR.
Clean Desk & Zero Compliance Risk
Because AHT Calculator operates completely client-side without collecting caller identifiers or sensitive payload data, utilizing this tool on your workstation poses zero PCI-DSS cardholder risk and zero HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI) exposure.
For shared call center computer stations, agents can instantly purge all locally stored shift logs at the end of their shift by clicking the "Reset All" button in the shift tracker or by running the browser in Private / Incognito mode.
5. Third-Party Web Infrastructure & Telemetry
To sustain fast global delivery and provide free tools for millions of customer service representatives, we integrate minimal, privacy-conscious third-party services:
5.1 Google Analytics (GA4)
We employ Google Analytics to collect aggregated, non-identifiable telemetry (e.g., device viewport resolution, general geographic region, and visited site pages). IP anonymization is permanently enabled. Google Analytics does not receive or record individual calculation values, timer durations, or shift logs.
5.2 Google AdSense
We display non-intrusive banner advertisements to offset cloud hosting expenses. Google and its ad partners may use cookies to serve personalized ads based on previous web visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising anytime by visiting the Google Ad Settings Portal.
5.3 Content Delivery Networks (CDNs)
We utilize secure CDNs (Cloudflare and Google Fonts) to deliver stylesheets, web typography, and icon libraries efficiently. CDNs may inspect HTTP headers solely for network routing and DDoS prevention.
6. User Data Autonomy & Right to Erasure (GDPR Art. 17)
Under global privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA, you maintain complete data sovereignty:
- Right to Data Portability: You can download a complete CSV copy of your tracked calls at any point during your shift using the "Export CSV" feature.
- Right to Immediate Erasure: Clicking "Reset Tracker" permanently wipes all local shift data from your browser storage immediately.
- Zero Backend Leftover: Because we do not have an operational database of user records, there is zero backend data retention or risk of database breaches.
8. Children's Online Privacy Protection (COPPA)
Our Service is intended exclusively for workplace professionals, workforce management analysts, and contact center teams. We do not knowingly solicit or collect data from children under the age of 16.
9. Policy Amendments
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect architectural enhancements or evolving global data protection standards. All modifications become effective upon publication on this page with an updated timestamp.
